God answers prayer

We so often wonder about answered prayer! Today so many have an expectation of prayer in their time frame. Yet God answers prayer in His time, which is not in our time. For God is outside of time as we know it, He is not confined to time as we know it.
Prayer as we do.
My relationship with God has shown me that God most definitely answers prayers.
How long before you expect to receive your answer to prayer?
This is one of my experiences with waiting upon God, for my prayer. I have for more than eight years prayed to God, that knowing that as my father grows on in years. He immigrated to Australia late 1998, he often asked me to immigrate to Australia. Since then my father has revisited South Africa a few times. We had a very close relationship when I was a teenager.
The Last time my father visited South Africa was before Christmas 2012. We have known for many years that he has been diagnosed with dementia. I have prayed and been praying for many years, for the opportunity to visit my father, as he is no longer able to travel. It has been my desire to be with my father, in his last years. He is now 81 years of age. I have never really had the desire to immigrate to Australia.
Just recently in the last few months I have really prayed for this opportunity to become a reality.
God has answered my prayers in a way I never thought possible. I saw adverts for opportunities to work in Australia, I applied for these positions. I also placed a post on a Facebook page, South Africans in Perth. I had many people and a few companies express interest in the post. There is one particular company in Australia that contacted me. I was requested to attend a zoom meeting with them. Unknown to me it was to be a husband and wife who own a hay farm a few hours from Perth, where my father and two younger brothers reside.
The zoom meeting was very promising. I was asked if I would consider a six month probation period with them. They have offered to pay for my visa and work permit application, including my air ticket. In their offer they have, offered accommodation and transport. This will be a six month visa, if the company and I come to an agreement to further my employment they shall apply for another four year visa and work permit. With the opportunity to take my family with me to Australia.
I have prayed for more than eight years for an opportunity to be close to my father before our Lord calls him to his final destination. It will take a few months to organise my visa and work permit application for the initial six month contract.
God answers prayers in the most unexpected time and through the most unexpected circumstances.
I give thanks with a heart full of gratitude to God. An answer which I never thought possible. I know wait for the confirmation for my visa and work permit.

I recieived my Australian visa on Friday 10th February, air tickets on Tuesday 13th February, booked and paid for. Fly out to Perth on the 16th February. Commence work with the Ballard Hay 20th February.
The opportunity to stay with family over the weekend and visit my father.
This has been the most awesome and amazing experience in my life.
God truly answers prayer.
